LÖSEV Launches International Adventure for Türkiye’s “Hero Children” – Young Survivors of Leukemia Set to Explore the World
A group of Türkiye’s “Hero Children”-young leukemia survivors-are embarking on a five-country journey organized by LÖSEV, celebrating their courage and resilience. This international adventure aims to open new horizons for these remarkable children while sharing their inspiring stories of hope and recovery with the world.
This summer, a group of extraordinary young leukemia survivors from Türkiye, affectionately called “Kahraman Çocuklar” or “Hero Children,” will set off on a remarkable adventure across five countries.
Organized by LÖSEV, the Foundation for Children with Leukemia, this international trip celebrates their courage, resilience, and the promise of life beyond cancer.
In Türkiye, the title “Hero Children” honors young survivors who have bravely fought and overcome leukemia. These children have faced one of life’s toughest battles at a young age, demonstrating strength and determination that inspire their communities and beyond.
Thanks to LÖSEV and its partners, many of these children will travel abroad for the very first time. Their itinerary includes visits to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and Bulgaria. But this trip is much more than sightseeing; it’s a celebration of life, hope, and new beginnings.
Arzu Celalifer Ekinci, LÖSEV’s international relations coordinator, shares, “These children are not only survivors; they are heroes who inspire us every day. This journey is a reward for their strength and a chance for them to rediscover childhood after years of hospital stays and treatments.”
